Role Overview
This position is based in Navi Mumbai and focuses on supporting core accounting operations in a professional finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will assist with routine accounting work, including recording journal entries, preparing invoices, and keeping ledgers up to date. The role also involves tracking receivables, reconciling bank statements, and observing cash movement.
Additional duties include helping prepare reports, maintaining documentation for financial transactions, and supporting both internal and external audit activities. Coordination with customers and internal teams will be required to resolve billing and payment-related issues.
Compliance and Controls
The role requires support in meeting statutory obligations related to GST, TDS, and other applicable requirements, while ensuring records are properly maintained and compliant.
Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, with B.Com being the preferred qualification. A basic understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting principles is expected, along with solid MS Excel skills. The role also calls for 1–2 years of relevant accounting exposure, strong accuracy, and good organizational ability.
