Role Overview

American Denturist College is looking for a part-time Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in Health Sciences and Dental Prosthetics, including Psychology, Sociology, and Gerontology. This is a contract position that can be performed fully remotely. The instructor will create and deliver learning materials, teach students online, provide mentoring, and evaluate student progress while collaborating with the curriculum team to keep course content aligned with industry expectations.

Key Duties

• Lead assigned courses in a clear, interactive, and effective way.
• Communicate with students through live sessions, discussion boards, chat, email, virtual office hours, and asynchronous tools.
• Respond to student messages and emails within 24 hours.
• Support learners by sharing subject knowledge, practical examples, professional insight, and mentoring throughout the course.
• Share regular announcements and course updates to keep students informed and engaged.
• Review course materials and suggest improvements so the content stays relevant and high quality.
• Stay up to date in the discipline by maintaining any required licensure, continuing education, or conference participation.
• Take part in departmental and university activities when needed.
