Role overview

This position sits within EY’s AI & Data practice and is focused on helping clients turn information into measurable business value. The role is open across offices in Ireland, including Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway, and is offered as a full-time permanent position.

What you will do

• Work with clients and subject-matter specialists to identify opportunities where data can be turned into practical business value.
• Lead teams with mixed technical backgrounds and varied experience across data and analytics tools and methods.
• Adjust your leadership approach to suit different client, team, and cultural situations.
• Spot risks early and raise issues when needed.
• Build a supportive environment that helps junior colleagues learn, grow, and receive coaching.
• Bring energy, initiative, and leadership to team development and growth.
• Use your experience to generate insights that benefit clients and contribute positively to society.
• Drive efficiency improvements across projects and internal initiatives while maintaining high quality and delivery standards.
• Help strengthen the AI & Data team’s market presence through events, collaboration with internal teams, and thought leadership.
• Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships and help identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in AI and data-related work, with a strong record of turning complex data into meaningful visual stories.
• A completed bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree.
• Relevant experience from consulting or industry, including substantial management responsibility.
• Ability to guide and develop others while managing budgets, client expectations, quality, and timelines.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• A continuous learning mindset and willingness to build new capabilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to learn and apply new methods quickly.
• Experience across parts of the AI and data lifecycle such as data strategy, ETL, data manipulation, visualisation, and statistical or predictive analysis.
