Overview
WSP is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its Architecture team in Wellington. This position offers the chance to contribute to meaningful projects within a large global professional services business that works across engineering, advisory, and scientific disciplines.
The role sits within a collaborative studio environment and supports the delivery of architectural work that aligns with client expectations. It combines design input, documentation, and project management, while also helping strengthen client relationships and support future business growth in the Wellington market.

Role Summary
Reporting to the Studio Leader, you will contribute to architectural projects from a delivery, coordination, and client-service perspective. The position requires someone who can produce strong technical work, communicate well with clients, and support the continued development of the Wellington portfolio.
Key Accountabilities
Your work will support project delivery according to client requirements, with a focus on design quality, documentation accuracy, and effective project management. You will also use your client and account management strengths to build on existing relationships and help expand business opportunities through networking and development activity.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings solid experience in commercial architecture, technical design capability, and confidence using industry-standard software. You should be comfortable working across different building types and construction approaches, and able to coordinate multiple building disciplines where complex integration is involved.
