Role overview
Reddy Architecture + Urbanism is seeking an Architectural Technologist to take a central role in the technical progression of projects, spanning design development through to construction. The role involves close collaboration with architects, consultants, and contractors, with a strong emphasis on technical leadership, BIM coordination, and the delivery of well-coordinated construction packages within an Irish project environment.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of technical design output, including detailed drawings and construction-stage documentation.
- Manage the coordination of design information across all disciplines and project phases.
- Make sure project documentation aligns with Irish Building Regulations and BC(A)R obligations.
- Develop and oversee Revit-based BIM models and drawing sets that are fully coordinated.
- Work through technical detailing issues while protecting buildability and design quality.
- Support tender packages, contractor coordination, and site-related technical input.
- Contribute to technical design reviews and assist project teams in delivering projects effectively.
Requirements
- Between 5 and 10 years of relevant experience in architectural practice.
- A degree or recognised qualification in Architectural Technology or a closely related field.
- Advanced working knowledge of Revit and BIM-led delivery processes.
- Strong familiarity with Irish Building Regulations and construction detailing standards.
- Demonstrated experience producing documentation for the construction stage.
- Good coordination, communication, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort working within multidisciplinary project teams.
