Job summary
We are looking for a commercially strong and execution-focused Associate Director Sales to steer and grow sales for interior design and turnkey fit-out projects. This leadership position requires deep experience in B2C selling, especially in the interiors space, along with a history of improving revenue through disciplined sales systems, team leadership, and close coordination across functions.
What you will do
- Build and roll out sales plans that increase revenue across residential, commercial, and turnkey interior assignments.
- Lead, coach, and develop Sales Managers, Business Development Executives, and Design Consultants to deliver strong outcomes.
- Develop long-term relationships with premium clients, architects, contractors, and channel partners.
- Spot new business opportunities, emerging market shifts, and promising customer segments to widen the company’s footprint.
- Work with design, marketing, and operations teams to support smooth project delivery and a strong client journey.
- Monitor the full sales pipeline, from lead creation through final closure, and improve conversion at each stage.
- Prepare reliable sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights for senior management.
- Set sales KPIs and create incentive structures that encourage higher team productivity.
- Represent the organization at exhibitions, trade events, and industry networking forums.
- Maintain process discipline, CRM data quality, and continuous improvement in selling practices.
Requirements
The role calls for a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related discipline; an MBA is preferred. Candidates should bring 12 to 15 years of sales leadership experience in Interior Design, Modular Furniture, or Real Estate. Success in strategic sales planning and execution is essential, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Strong people leadership skills are needed for managing distributed teams. Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools is also required, as well as a solid understanding of pricing models, client presentations, and competitive analysis.
