Role overview

This position sits within Advisory under the Data, Analytics & AI specialism at the Associate level. The role focuses on turning data into practical business insight through analytics, reporting, and information management. The team supports organizations in improving decision-making, strengthening data quality, and using technology-enabled solutions to address business challenges and drive growth.

The work involves creating business intelligence solutions that connect business understanding with data and technology. By building interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions, the role helps business teams answer key questions, improve operations, and uncover opportunities in their data.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure, and support Informatica workflows, mappings, and transformations.
• Work with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and business objectives.
• Analyze and profile data to support data quality and data integrity.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for Informatica processes, mappings, and workflow logic.
• Investigate issues in ETL and Informatica workflows and implement fixes.
• Improve the efficiency and performance of Informatica workflows and related processes.
• Take part in code reviews and share useful feedback with colleagues.
• Keep current with updates, tools, and best practices in Informatica and related technologies.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience working as an Informatica developer or in a similar ETL role.
• Strong working knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter.
• Practical experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and common methodologies.
• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL design principles.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
• Informatica or related technical certifications are optional but beneficial.

Preferred qualifications

• Exposure to Informatica Cloud or other cloud-based ETL platforms.
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop or Spark.
• Experience using scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys.
• Previous work in Agile delivery environments.
