About the Role

Vinted is expanding its authentication function to help ensure that only high-quality items reach customers. The team’s aim is to raise the bar in luxury resale while also supporting more sustainable shopping choices. This is an on-site role based at the warehouse in Hamburg.

What You Will Do

• Work with a motivated and open-minded team of experienced brand specialists and luxury fashion enthusiasts.
• Inspect a broad variety of luxury products and determine whether they are genuine or counterfeit.
• Review fabrics, workmanship, labels, serial details, and overall condition to verify authenticity and quality.
• Keep yourself informed about current market trends, production techniques, and new counterfeit methods so your judgment stays sharp.
• Build and strengthen your evaluation abilities while working in an environment where curiosity and a passion for luxury items matter most.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong familiarity with luxury brands, their products, and the features that help distinguish authentic items from copies.
• A willingness to keep learning and stay current with brand updates and industry changes.
• Genuine interest in luxury goods and fashion, combined with careful attention to detail.
• Previous exposure to luxury resale, authentication, or a closely related field is a plus.

Compensation

The annual gross salary for this role is between €34,900 and €41,000.

Working Arrangement

This position is based onsite at the warehouse in Hamburg.
