Role Overview
This position is for an experienced, practical engineering professional who is passionate about advanced aircraft systems and ready to contribute to an Engineering and Maintenance team.
Key Duties
You will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and inspection work across the Boeing 787 fleet while ensuring all activities meet regulatory obligations and industry expectations. The role also covers planned and unplanned aircraft, engine, and component maintenance in line with approved manufacturer manuals and company safety rules.
You will lead teams working on Line Maintenance in a fast-moving environment, helping reduce aircraft downtime. A major part of the job is reviewing and certifying scheduled maintenance tasks, fault correction, modifications, and functional checks across airframe, engine, and electrical systems.
Daily work will include diagnosing and resolving issues in avionics systems to keep aircraft operating reliably.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should hold at least a Diploma or Certificate and bring a minimum of 8 years of Line Maintenance experience. Of this, the most recent 2 years must include certification experience on the Boeing 787.
A Boeing 787 Type Rating Level 3 is required, along with a valid B2 Aircraft Maintenance License from GACA, EASA, or another recognized Civil Aviation Authority.
Mandatory Application Documents
- A current and valid B2 AV Aircraft Maintenance License issued by GACA, EASA, or another Civil Aviation Authority
- Original Boeing 787 Type Training Level III certificate covering both practical and theoretical training
- Maintenance experience records for the last 5 years, signed and stamped by the MRO or Operator Quality Assurance department
- A recency letter from current and, where relevant, previous employers describing the scope of work and length of service, signed and stamped by the MRO Quality Assurance department
- Copies of current and previous Operator or MRO Certification Authorisation documents
Additional Requirement
The selected candidate must also have the relevant police security clearance for this role.
