A web design and development company is looking for a proactive Online Bidding Manager to drive project acquisition through digital marketplaces and direct client outreach. Core responsibilities

• Build a structured bidding approach to shortlist opportunities, judge their viability, and choose the right pursuit strategy.
• Strengthen the company’s visibility on bidding marketplaces such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, and similar platforms by refining profiles, portfolios, and proposal content.
• Research potential customers, projects, and business leads, and contact prospects through online channels and related outreach methods.
• Prepare persuasive project proposals that clearly reflect client requirements, highlight the company’s strengths, and set the business apart from competitors.
• Work with the pricing team to shape market-aware, profitable quotations that fit client expectations and budget ranges.
• Handle client discussions and negotiations to close contracts, finalize favorable terms, and confirm project specifics.
• Develop long-term client relationships that support repeat work and referrals.
• Track industry shifts, competitor activity, and new technologies to keep the bidding approach current and effective.
• Review bidding outcomes using measures such as win rate, conversion rate, and revenue from online bidding efforts.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, developers, and marketers to ensure smooth handoff and successful delivery after project win.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a closely related area is preferred.
• Hands-on background in online bidding and winning web design or web development projects.
• Solid understanding of web design and development workflows and the technologies used in them.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Good negotiation skills along with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
• Comfort using online bidding platforms such as Upwork and Freelancer.
• Ability to work on your own as well as collaboratively with a team.
