In this role, you will use Python, SQL, Excel, and AI-enabled automation to simplify reporting, spot business gaps, surface trends, and support faster decisions in a high-paced e-commerce environment. You will work closely with multiple teams to ensure insights turn into practical actions that improve business performance.
Key responsibilities
- Build and connect automated workflows with AI tools to reduce manual effort in reporting, speed up gap analysis, and make trend discovery more efficient across large datasets.
- Plan, monitor, and review daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance for the platform.
- Track results against targets and call out meaningful deviations quickly so corrective actions can be taken without delay.
- Analyze category- and SKU-level performance in depth to identify strong growth opportunities as well as areas needing attention.
- Convert raw data into practical recommendations for category leaders and business decision-makers.
- Use historical and live data to identify underperforming segments early and support teams in defining and tracking recovery plans.
- Create and maintain self-service dashboards for leadership using tools such as Power BI, Looker, Data Studio, or similar platforms.
- Work in close partnership with Marketing, Category, Product, and Operations teams to keep business goals aligned and execution-ready.
- Serve as a central analytics contact point for cross-functional teams needing clear business insights.
Required qualifications and skills
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python for advanced data handling, automation scripts, and data wrangling using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Ability to write structured, scalable code for complex data pipelines.
- Practical experience using AI tools to automate repetitive workflows, improve data extraction, and build smarter reporting processes.
- Very good command of SQL for working with data from relational databases.
- Advanced Excel proficiency for quick analysis and ad hoc problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline.
- Strong logical reasoning, comfort with numbers, and the ability to present technical findings in a clear way for non-technical stakeholders.
- Exposure to a fast-moving, data-driven e-commerce setting is preferred.
