Overview
This contract opportunity is for a Technical Business Analyst / Business Systems Administrator to support a major platform implementation and the stabilisation period after launch for a NSW Government agency in Harris Park, NSW. The position is focused on analysis, technical documentation, integration preparation, vendor onboarding, system configuration, testing, and day-to-day administration of a business-critical solution.
The role suits a practical BA who is comfortable working across APIs, interfaces, data exchange, user access, configuration, testing, vendor coordination, and operational support. Reporting will be to the PMO Program Lead.
What this role will involve
- Supporting a key government program through vendor onboarding, implementation activities, and post-launch operations.
- Working on technical integration analysis, system setup, testing, user administration, and vendor support.
- Acting as the link between business users, technical teams, suppliers, and the PMO.
- Helping maintain system stability, governance, data quality, release control, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven background as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Application Support Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Business Systems Administrator.
- Hands-on experience supporting system implementations, vendor onboarding, SaaS products, or business-critical applications.
- Solid understanding of APIs, system interfaces, data movement, event-driven flows, batch processing, and file-based integrations.
- Strong capability in SIT and UAT, including defect investigation, test support, production readiness, and after-go-live support.
- Experience managing user accounts, role-based access, security settings, permissions, and access reviews.
- Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder handling, and vendor coordination skills.
- Experience in government or similarly structured enterprise environments is preferred.

This position is a contract role based onsite in Harris Park, NSW, with a daily rate of $436 to $483 plus superannuation.
Desirable experience
- Experience in the NSW Government, public sector, or other highly structured enterprise environments.
- Exposure to procurement, supplier onboarding, or software implementation work.
- Experience with Unity4, Language Link, interpreting or language services, rostering, scheduling, workforce, case management, or service delivery platforms.
- Background in post-launch system administration and operational support.
- Strong awareness of governance, auditability, access control, reconciliation, and reporting validation.
