Role overview
This contract Business Analyst role supports HR Technology portfolio governance, Jira data quality, and day-to-day execution across enhancement and initiative workstreams. The position acts as the lead for Jira governance and portfolio hygiene, while also serving as the HR category lead for the company’s Software Optimization program.
The role is part of the HR Tech US team and is set up for remote work. It requires close collaboration with portfolio and delivery leadership, product managers, delivery managers, and governance stakeholders to keep reporting accurate, reduce execution risk, and improve transparency across HR Technology programs.

Responsibilities
- Set and uphold Jira governance rules for HR Technology initiatives and enhancement work
- Keep portfolio reporting reliable across status, milestones, risks, trends, and summary views
- Run regular hygiene checks to surface stale records, missing information, and overdue milestones
- Oversee intake and tracking for enhancements, including Small Enhancement Requests
- Differentiate strategic initiatives from enhancement work and operational support items
- Improve Jira usage instructions and maintain enhancement documentation standards
- Build portfolio reports and leadership-ready insights for executive review sessions
- Support the HR category stream within the Software Optimization program
- Help stakeholders navigate Nestware, Non-Standard Request (NSR), and Software Standards Committee (SSC) governance steps
- Confirm intended software use and record exclusions to reduce duplicate tools and scope expansion
- Work across HR Tech leadership and governance groups to ensure compliant outcomes
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology or enterprise settings
- Background in portfolio governance, delivery reporting, or operational process coordination
- Practical knowledge of Jira or a comparable tracking and governance system
- Ability to spot missing data, reporting errors, and operational risks
- Strong documentation and written communication skills
- Comfort working with multiple stakeholders and governance teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Compensation
Hourly pay ranges from $50.00 to $52.79.
