Overview
This opportunity is with a fast-growing private equity business focused on buying, scaling, and exiting e-commerce brands around the world. As the first contact for founders, investors, entrepreneurs, and business owners who are considering acquisition opportunities, you will represent the firm in early conversations and help move promising leads forward.
Role Summary
The position calls for someone who is commercially astute, articulate, and comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders from the outset. You will be expected to handle discovery conversations, assess whether opportunities are a good fit, explain the basics of acquisitions and ownership, and support the progression of qualified prospects toward the deal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery conversations with inbound founders, buyers, and investors.
- Assess and qualify opportunities based on commercial suitability.
- Communicate acquisition opportunities, business ownership, and investment ideas in a clear way.
- Develop trust and credibility when speaking with senior decision-makers.
- Partner with deal closers to advance strong opportunities through the process.
- Assist with both inbound qualification and targeted outbound prospecting.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will bring experience from a BDR, SDR, business development, recruitment, investment sales, wealth management, or consultative sales environment. Strong spoken English, a polished delivery, and the confidence to engage with founders, investors, and executives are essential.
You should also be commercially minded, skilled at discovery and questioning, and able to understand and discuss concepts related to acquisitions, business ownership, and investment logic. A driven, ambitious mindset and interest in moving into a more closing-focused commercial role are important.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Work directly with founders, investors, and entrepreneurs from the very beginning.
- Operate at the intersection of e-commerce and private equity.
- Benefit from a clear path toward deal-facing and closing responsibilities.
- Join a high-growth, high-performance setting with strong earning potential.
