Platinum Rain Partners is looking for an experienced Category Manager to support its operations in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on shaping category direction, strengthening supplier partnerships, and improving commercial performance across the business.

Key responsibilities
- Build and implement category plans aimed at improving sales, margin, and overall market expansion.
- Review market movements, shopper behavior, and competitor actions to guide category decisions.
- Handle supplier engagement, commercial discussions, and contract finalization.
- Refine the product mix, pricing structure, and promotional approach to support performance.
- Track category results using KPIs and analytical business reporting.
- Work closely with procurement, marketing, sales, and operations teams to align plans.
- Spot opportunities to grow categories and improve business outcomes.
- Maintain inventory levels and product availability in line with company goals.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Prior hands-on experience in category management, merchandising, procurement, or retail management.
- Strong commercial judgment and analytical thinking.
- Good negotiation ability, clear communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with data analysis, forecasting, and inventory management systems.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel, ERP software, and reporting tools.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a busy, fast-moving environment.
