Role Overview

The Channel Manager will be responsible for building and managing a strong distributor and reseller network across the ASEAN region. The role is centered on expanding market share for Redington’s technology offerings by strengthening partner performance, improving pipeline execution, and driving active engagement across the channel ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and onboard Tier-1 distributors as well as Tier-2 value-added resellers and system integrators aligned to priority business areas such as cloud, cybersecurity, and networking.
  • Develop and run annual joint business plans with strategic partners, including revenue goals, marketing commitments, and certification targets.
  • Shape territory coverage plans across ASEAN and emerging technology hubs to maximize partner reach.
  • Track, manage, and forecast the partner sales pipeline while maintaining accurate CRM updates and reporting.
  • Oversee deal registration processes to reduce channel conflicts and safeguard partner investments in new opportunities.
  • Work with pre-sales and finance teams to build competitive pricing and commercial proposals for large tender opportunities.
  • Deliver enablement sessions so partner sales and technical teams remain trained, certified, and prepared to position Redington solutions effectively.
  • Partner with marketing to execute co-marketing initiatives, seminars, and incentive programs that strengthen brand affinity and partner loyalty.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with distributor leadership and owners.
  • Localize global partner programs to match business practices, market expectations, and regulatory conditions in the region.

Candidate Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or another relevant discipline is required.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in IT channel sales or business development is expected.
  • A strong track record of handling major distributors and working with system integrator networks is essential.
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure areas such as cloud, SaaS, networking, or security is needed.
  • Excellent negotiation skills are necessary for complex commercial discussions.
  • Strong English communication skills are required for regional coordination and reporting.
  • The candidate should be able to operate independently with limited supervision in a fast-moving growth environment.
