Role overview

Comer Group Ireland is hiring a Cleaner to support its team across a varied portfolio of residential and commercial properties in the Dublin area. This position suits someone who takes pride in maintaining clean spaces, works carefully, and pays close attention to detail.

Key duties

• Respond to instructions and requests from management and property teams promptly and efficiently.
• Keep shared and public areas clean in both commercial and residential buildings.
• Empty waste bins and wipe them down as needed.
• Clean glass panels and windows.
• Dust and wipe all surfaces.
• Dust, clean, and straighten furniture, tables, and fixtures.
• Clean doors, as well as windowsills and door ledges.
• Clean lifts and lift lobbies/areas.
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors.
• Sweep tiled and hardwood floor areas.
• Follow lost-property procedures correctly.
• Observe all health and safety rules within the department.
• Escalate maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Report complaints to the Maintenance Manager.
• Look after cleaning tools and equipment.
• Keep storerooms and the chemical room organised, tidy, and well maintained.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties or instructions from management or their representative.
• Maintain clear communication with all departments and management about issues at assigned properties.
• Support other departments during busy periods and complete additional tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager to help meet business needs.
• Travel between sites on a daily basis.
• Prioritise tasks and duties according to operational requirements.

Required experience and attributes

• Experience working as a cleaner.
• Strong communication skills.
• Very good attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-moving environment.
• Full driving licence is essential.
