Descrizione del lavoro

Role Overview

The Compliance Coordinator supports regulatory compliance across OCCH’s housing portfolio. This role gathers tenant file documentation, reviews files for accuracy and completeness, and helps ensure that processes align with federal and state rules as well as OCCH’s internal policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Director of Compliance, you will coordinate the movement of tenant information from partners into the formal review process. You will examine files at initial move-in and continue with annual testing for roughly 20% of units. The role also involves summarizing review outcomes for internal and external reporting, including lease-up tracking, credit delivery calculations, and other organizational insights.

You will also communicate review findings clearly, work with partners to address issues, and help them strengthen compliance practices through coaching and support.

Qualifications and Experience

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of relevant experience in HUD, LIHTC, property management, or real estate. Experience should reflect the core duties of this position. Strong references that confirm both character and communication/technical ability are required.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory. Professional certifications such as HCCP, SHCM, COS, TaCCs, C3P, RD Star, or similar credentials are considered a plus.

Skills and Competencies

Success in this role requires strong organization, a disciplined work ethic, high productivity, and a consistent focus on accuracy. Because the work is fast-paced and high-volume, careful attention to detail is essential. You should also have solid written and verbal communication skills, be able to build effective relationships with partners, and show a strong commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
