Role overview
We are hiring a Computer Vision & AR Rendering Engineer to help create the real-time perception and visualization core for an augmented-reality orthopaedic surgical navigation platform. The work focuses on building technology for next-generation AR-assisted surgical navigation.
Core focus areas
- Computer vision for real-time scene understanding
- Pose estimation for live tracking and alignment
- Visual guidance for surgical navigation workflows
- Augmented reality rendering for overlaid medical visualization
- Graphics optimization for embedded and performance-sensitive environments
Technical expertise expected
- Hands-on experience with OpenCV, including ArUco markers, solvePnP, Rodrigues, and camera calibration
- Strong knowledge of OpenGL ES 2.0 and GLSL shader programming
- Programming ability in Java and C++, with practical use of Android NDK and JNI
- Good grasp of 3D geometry, coordinate transforms, and mathematical modeling
- Ability to build real-time rendering pipelines and tune GPU performance
- Familiarity with Camera2 API and YUV image processing workflows
Preferred educational background
Candidates from computer vision, robotics, graphics programming, biomedical engineering, embedded systems, or similar fields are especially well suited.
Additional advantage
Experience with AR/VR products, surgical navigation platforms, SLAM, embedded graphics tuning, or software for medical devices will be a strong plus.
