About the role
We are seeking a seasoned and commercially focused Country Manager to oversee the organization’s operations in the assigned country. This senior leadership position is responsible for accelerating growth, supervising local operations, deepening client and partner relationships, and ensuring the business performs profitably and effectively within the territory. Reporting to the Group CEO, the role involves shaping and delivering country strategy, meeting revenue and financial goals, spotting market potential, directing sales performance, and supporting the successful delivery of projects and services. The position calls for a strong combination of commercial leadership, operational control, financial ownership, stakeholder management, and people management.
This opportunity is well suited to a performance-driven leader with substantial experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, enterprise technology services, or similar sectors, and the ability to grow market presence, improve business results, and guide high-performing teams in a competitive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the company’s operations in the assigned country.
- Create and implement country-specific business and sales plans.
- Take full responsibility for the country’s P&L, including revenue, profitability, budgets, expenses, and cash flow.
- Spot new market opportunities, customer requirements, and areas for expansion.
- Lead sales execution and ensure revenue objectives are met.
- Develop and sustain trusted relationships with important clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Support successful project delivery and maintain strong client satisfaction.
- Hire, coach, and manage a capable local team.
- Encourage a collaborative, accountable, and results-oriented culture.
- Share regular business updates, risks, and opportunities with senior leadership.
Requirements
- Solid background in country management, general management, business leadership, or sales leadership roles.
- Experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, software solutions, or enterprise technology services.
- Hands-on experience managing P&L, budgets, revenue goals, and overall business performance.
- Strong commercial judgment with a track record of growing sales and expanding into new markets.
- Ability to build effective relationships with enterprise clients, partners, and senior stakeholders.
- Clear understanding of project delivery, customer success, and service operations.
- Demonstrated people-management skills with the ability to build and lead teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA will be considered an advantage.
