Role overview

This position is for an interview-based hiring process. The courier will be responsible for collecting and delivering parcels along an assigned route in a professional and timely manner, while also ensuring every shipment matches the company’s service standards and supporting customers as needed.

What you will do

• Carry out courteous and efficient package pickup and delivery on the designated route.
• Inspect shipments to confirm they comply with the required service features.
• Provide customer service support related to deliveries and pickups.
• Handle any other duties assigned as part of the role.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities

• High school diploma or an equivalent educational qualification.
• A valid driver’s licence with a clean driving history is required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and move packages weighing as much as 150 lbs using the proper equipment.
• At least 1 year of customer-focused business experience is preferred.
• Must pass the mandatory pre-placement driver assessment with the required minimum score.
• Working knowledge of company operations and Canadian customs rules is an advantage.
• Strong people skills, clear communication, and a customer-first mindset.
• Good planning, organisation, and time management abilities.
• Comfortable balancing multiple tasks and working under pressure.
• Flexible availability, including different schedules and holidays based on business requirements.
• Ability to work in a PC Windows environment and complete ongoing training and accreditation requirements.

Schedule and work pattern

The shift runs from Tuesday to Saturday. Tuesday to Friday start at 9:55 AM, and Saturday starts at 9:00 AM. Flexibility to work varying shifts is expected according to business needs.

Preferred qualifications

• Must hold a full valid Class G licence.
• G2 licences are not accepted.
• Applicants should have 1 year of courier experience.
