Role overview
This position involves operating company vehicles to handle package delivery and pickup in a professional, customer-facing setting. The courier is expected to ensure shipments comply with company service standards and to support related customer service tasks as needed.
Work schedule
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with a 1-hour break. Additional scheduling detail noted for this role is Tuesday through Saturday.
Minimum education
A high school diploma or GED is required. The applicant must also hold the proper license for the vehicle assigned to the role.
Skills, abilities, and physical requirements
The job requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to move packages above 50 lbs using appropriate equipment or with another person’s help. Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication are necessary, along with a tidy appearance because the position includes direct customer interaction.
Candidates must satisfy the requirements referenced in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and complete a medical exam under FMCSA or FAA rules. This is a non-covered safety-sensitive role, and a medical examination is required. The role also calls for the ability to remain alert at all times and work safely.
