About the Company

SATVEN, or Satyam Venture Engineering Services, was founded in 2000 as a specialised automotive engineering services firm focused on delivering engineering solutions to customers worldwide. The company has been an early mover in India’s offshore development model for automotive engineering and has built a strong record of supporting major OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers with high-value services.

Over the years, its work has expanded from legacy data migration, change management, 3D modelling, detailing and FE meshing into areas such as product design, dimensional tolerance stack-up studies, value analysis and value engineering, competitive benchmarking, supplier development, digital manufacturing, crash and NVH simulation, and computational fluid dynamics. Its expertise spans body, closures, interiors, exteriors, seating, braking, occupant safety, chassis, and steering and suspension systems. The company operates through a mix of onsite, offshore, and offsite delivery models and employs around 1500 engineers across India, the US, Europe, and Japan.

Role Overview

  • Run CAE simulations to assess full-vehicle crashworthiness, especially for high-speed side impact scenarios, using LS-DYNA.
  • Ensure the simulation workflow produces accurate results, clear outputs, and professional reports and presentations.
  • Develop practical and timely vehicle design recommendations to help achieve side impact safety targets.
  • Work with CAE platforms and related tools such as LS-DYNA, PRIMER, METAPOST, ANSA, HYPERWORKS, and other associated software.

Requirements

  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Immediate joiners up to candidates with a notice period of 90 days.
  • B.Tech / B.E. in Plastics Technology, Production and Industrial Engineering, Aviation/Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Robotics and Automation Engineering.
  • Strong working knowledge of CAE processes and crash analysis tools.
  • Hands-on experience with LS-DYNA, PRIMER, METAPOST, ANSA, HYPERWORKS, and related CAE tools.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and assessment standards such as NCAP and FMVSS.
