Role overview
Boots Ireland is looking for a Customer Assistant to join the team in Clarecastle, County Clare. This opportunity suits someone starting out in work as well as someone with retail background who wants a fresh challenge and the chance to build a career in a store environment.
What you'll do
This is an on-site position reporting to the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager. The role may involve serving on tills, supporting customers on the shop floor, or assisting behind the scenes in the stock area.
- Welcome customers, make them feel comfortable, and support them with helpful, thoughtful service.
- Listen to customer needs, respond to questions, suggest suitable products, and offer simple extras that improve the shopping experience.
- Learn about in-store offers and schemes and actively promote them to customers.
- Keep the store operating efficiently by supporting product presentation, till service, and stockroom activities.
- Work closely with colleagues to create a clean, tidy, and attractive store that reflects well on the team.
