Role Overview

This position is for Malaysia, even though the listing location is Singapore. The role combines inbound customer handling with outbound sales activity for StarHub’s telecommunications products and services.

Inbound Call Handling

You will manage hotline enquiries related to sales, salvage, and termination. The job involves answering customer questions quickly and professionally, supporting deal closure, and taking action to retain customers by strengthening relationships over the phone.

Part of the role is to resolve customer concerns efficiently, share accurate details on products, pricing, and suitable solutions, and look for opportunities to increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling StarHub services. You will also be expected to keep customer information up to date in the CRM system and record every interaction properly.

Outbound Sales Activities

You will make outbound calls to both prospects and existing customers to promote telecom products and services such as internet plans, mobile subscriptions, and bundled offers. The role requires identifying customer needs, recommending the right package, following up on leads from campaigns, referrals, and enquiries, and actively selling additional services where relevant.

You will be expected to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets, while also contributing to the service quality standards and balanced scorecard KPIs.
