Role Overview
We are hiring a Customer Service Representative to support a growing team. This is a fully remote contract role with a starting term of 3 months. The position is open only to candidates who live in Virginia or New Jersey and requires the use of your own equipment.
Work Setup and Equipment
This is a bring-your-own-device role. You must have your own laptop and a second monitor, and you will need to pass a technical screening related to the device requirements with the hiring team.
Training and Attendance Expectations
Training runs for the first two weeks and is scheduled Monday through Friday. Attendance during training is mandatory, and no time off will be permitted during this period. The intended start date is mid to late July.
Working Hours
Shifts will be assigned within the following operating hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm EST
- Saturday: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm EST
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers an hourly pay rate of $16.67 and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Job Summary
In this position, you will help callers by giving clear, informed, and objective responses to complex questions related to eligibility rules, policy details, access-to-care concerns, and escalated issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle both incoming and outgoing contacts efficiently and professionally.
- Review and process workflow documents, including records related to income, identity, and other eligibility verification needs.
- Learn updated policies and procedures for state programs and use supporting materials to address customer questions accurately.
