This role supports advisors and marketing teams by helping them capture, report, interpret, and make use of customer information. The position requires applying strong knowledge, practical expertise, and established methods to complete assigned work effectively.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee data quality checks for Client Regulatory and KYC Operations.
  • Review reconciliation outputs and exception reports related to regulatory and KYC data.
  • Contribute as part of the business-led configuration team for the Capital Markets Client Lifecycle Management platform.
  • Help maintain the KYC and Regulatory data dictionary and provide input for updates.
  • Assess data quality findings to spot issues, recurring patterns, trends, and ways to improve onboarding and refresh processes for KYC and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, controls, procedures, and training content for data-related platforms.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly KRI reporting through a Data Quality Scorecard, along with detailed memos describing data issues.
  • Stay current on internal procedures and industry-standard practices.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the firm’s automated systems.
  • Support Policy & Quality Control teams in identifying AML-related or regulatory concerns.
  • Assist with documentation needed for upcoming audits and examinations when required.
  • Make sure operational controls are in place and functioning to reduce errors.
  • Develop approaches to reduce operational challenges, improve client experience, and address regulatory matters.
  • Track progress and provide updates to key stakeholders, including the Client Lifecycle Management Group, Compliance, and Front Office teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource on regulatory and enterprise policies and procedures tied to client and data management.
  • Take part in Capital Markets regulatory initiatives routed through the Client Lifecycle Management Group.

Required experience and capabilities

  • You should be able to break problems into simple programming logic and analytical steps.
  • Prior experience handling data is required.
  • Working knowledge of Python and SQL is important.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed.
  • You should bring solid analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Preferred background

  • Undergraduate or graduate education, ideally in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Exposure to Capital Markets or Investment Banking products and operations is an advantage.
  • Understanding of regional rules tied to Anti-Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Economic Sanctions, and customer categorisation is preferred.
  • Previous experience in KYC or AML operations is beneficial.
  • Awareness of AML, TF, and ES regulatory obligations and their operational impact is a plus.
  • Ability to influence and guide internal and external partners is helpful.
  • Strong presentation skills are desirable.
