Role overview
A multinational technology client is seeking a Data Privacy Paralegal for a long-term contract assignment. The position is slated to begin immediately and run for 12 months.
What you will do
- Handle and close GDPR-based data subject rights matters, including requests connected to deletion and erasure rights.
- Work closely with the Data Protection Officer, privacy specialists, and other internal partners.
What the client is looking for
- Prior exposure to, or hands-on experience in, data privacy work.
- A formal data privacy qualification is not mandatory, but prior advisory experience in a law firm or technology company is preferred.
- Ideally based in Ireland and available to work from the Dublin office in a hybrid arrangement.
- IAPP certification such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT is welcomed, as is an interest in pursuing one.
