Role Overview

Reliance Digital, part of Reliance Retail's electronic supply chain, is hiring a Distribution Center Manager in Dharwad. The position focuses on running warehouse and distribution activities efficiently, safely, and with a strong eye on cost control while ensuring orders are fulfilled on time for all business channels.

The role calls for solid operational judgment, the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and experience in leading teams that deliver high performance.

Core Responsibilities

You will be accountable for inbound and outbound movement, improving stock management, raising productivity, managing a cross-functional team, and maintaining productive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Design and execute plans that improve operating efficiency and bring down supply chain expenses.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activity and ensure orders are dispatched and fulfilled within committed timelines across channels.
• Guide and support teams handling quality assurance, vendor coordination, reverse logistics, and assistant DC management.
• Spot bottlenecks in existing processes and simplify workflows to improve output and throughput.
• Maintain healthy inventory levels, reduce shrinkage, and manage storage and distribution in an efficient manner.
• Develop and sustain working relationships with logistics and distribution partners.
• Ensure the operation remains compliant with applicable regulations and supports a safe, high-performance workplace.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as OTIF, shrinkage percentage, returns SLA adherence, delivery NPS, and transport cost.
• Review performance regularly and take corrective action where standards are not being met.
• Define KRAs, track team performance, and encourage engagement and retention.
• Lead with consistency, uphold organizational values, and promote a mindset of continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

The company is seeking professionals with 8 to 14 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain management, consumer electronics, or logistics. Experience in multi-channel retail logistics is preferred.

Successful candidates should bring strong leadership, people management, analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Hands-on SAP knowledge is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education

A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related discipline, though equivalent experience may also be considered.
