Role overview
This position is focused on building out the front-office dealing capability in Singapore and improving the full trading journey for clients. The objective is to launch equity trading features, refine them continuously, and turn platform readiness into real trading activity through scalable operating practices.
All work must remain aligned with MAS regulatory expectations while supporting growth, strong client experience, and operational quality.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and strengthen the dealing function in Singapore, with ownership of launching and continuously improving core equity trading capabilities with an emphasis on reliability, speed, and client experience.
- Manage the complete client lifecycle across account opening, funding, trading, client support, and operational handoff so that the front-end journey works smoothly with back-end execution.
- Work closely with product, technology, compliance, operations, and client service teams to define local needs, support testing and launch readiness, and drive improvements after rollout while keeping both regulatory and commercial needs in balance.
- Create and refine operating processes for dealing support, order handling, incident escalation, and client queries and feedback, with a focus on better protection and faster service response.
- Review client activity, trading friction points, and market feedback to improve onboarding, trading flow, advisory-related journeys, and important product features.
- Partner with marketing and growth teams to improve activation, trading volume, and retention, helping move the business from a basic working setup to a repeatable and scalable operating model.
- Contribute beyond the formal job scope in a lean team environment by helping design frontline processes, training frameworks, and cross-functional coordination routines.
Requirements
- Practical experience in Singapore brokerage dealing, trading support, or similar client trading service roles, along with a solid understanding of equity products and related securities workflows.
- Strong working knowledge of MAS rules and expectations covering trading controls, client protection, compliance in processes, and the connection between front-office and operations.
- Background in launching trading platforms, localizing brokerage services, or improving digital brokerage products.
- Ability to turn business needs into workable product and process solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills for working across product, technology, compliance, operations, client service, and marketing teams.
- Good problem-solving ability, prioritization discipline, and execution focus, with comfort in a fast-moving and early-stage environment.
- Preferred experience with Singapore securities licences or other relevant regulatory certifications.
- Nice-to-have exposure to onboarding optimization, activation campaigns, trading campaigns, or client journey design.
- Helpful experience in coaching teams, setting service standards, or managing front-office functions.
- Familiarity with multi-asset products such as ETFs, options, and fixed income instruments is an advantage for future platform expansion.
