Role overview
Mondelēz International is looking for a Digital Designer to join JoyLab, its in-house content studio, and help deliver large volumes of digital creative across its U.S. snack portfolio. The role supports well-known brands such as Sour Patch Kids, Clif Bar, Chips Ahoy!, and others.
The position focuses on creating digital shelf, lifestyle, social, and motion/video assets. You will work within established brand systems, help develop scalable creative playbooks, and contribute to efficient multi-brand production.
Key responsibilities
- Create digital shelf and eCommerce assets such as product detail page imagery, lifestyle visuals, comparison charts, and enhanced content modules.
- Resize, reformat, and version existing campaign and brand materials for retail, paid social, and digital banner placements.
- Develop motion graphics and short-form video content that supports storytelling and audience engagement.
- Manage high-volume production work across several brands and platforms.
- Use emerging creative tools, including AI-based solutions, to improve workflows and spark ideas.
- Make sure all output follows brand rules, legal standards, and retailer requirements.
- Prepare, organize, tag, and upload assets into Mondelez DAM systems with accurate file management.
- Partner with brand, Omni, and Digital Commerce teams to support business goals.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback quickly and accurately.
- Maintain a high level of consistency, precision, and quality across all deliverables.
- Help refine templates, tools, and workflows to improve speed and production efficiency.
Experience and skills
The ideal candidate brings 3 to 4 years of experience in graphic design, digital content production, or a closely related area. Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills are essential, especially in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma; experience with After Effects and/or Premiere Pro is an advantage.
Background with consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, or digital shelf content is preferred. The role also calls for motion design and video editing ability, strong organization, time management, and the flexibility to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Success in this role requires careful attention to detail, comfort working within brand frameworks, strong communication, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams. A growth mindset and willingness to learn new tools and methods are important.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent experience may also be considered.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary for this position ranges from USD 66,400 to USD 91,300 per year, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget. The role is also eligible for a competitive bonus program with potential overachievement based on performance and company results.
Benefits include health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave, education-related programs, paid holidays, and vacation time. Some benefits have eligibility conditions, and several are subsidized or fully covered by the company.
