Role Overview
This part-time internship is based in Doha, Qatar, with a hybrid work arrangement. The selected intern will contribute to SurfX’s brand presence through visual design, content production, and social media execution. It is a practical, hands-on opportunity suited to someone who enjoys both creative production and digital storytelling.
Key Duties
- Create visual content and design assets for social media, website use, and promotional campaigns.
- Produce and edit short-form videos for platforms such as Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, highlighting SurfX experiences.
- Capture photography and video footage at events, activities, and partner locations.
- Oversee social media pages, content planning, and audience interaction.
- Assist in planning and running digital campaigns across social channels.
- Review campaign and content performance data to improve results.
- Work closely with the marketing team to keep branding consistent across all digital channels.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should be comfortable using design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or comparable tools. Experience with video editing applications like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar is needed. The role also calls for practical photography and video shooting ability, including a solid sense of framing and lighting. Candidates should be able to create short-form videos with a narrative and engaging style, and should understand social media marketing, online promotion, and content planning. Familiarity with current digital marketing trends and platform best practices is important, along with strong written and spoken communication. A creative approach and the ability to produce personality-led content are essential. Preference is given to candidates who are currently studying or have recently finished a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Media, or a related area. Interest in lifestyle, travel, or culture is a plus, though not mandatory. Experience with Notion is preferred.
