Role overview
Grupo KFC Ecuador is hiring a full-time, remote Digital Transformation Director based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The position is focused on steering company-wide digital and business change initiatives from planning through execution, with the goal of improving customer experience, streamlining operations, and enabling sustainable growth.
What the role involves
In this role, you will evaluate existing workflows and technology landscapes, shape transformation roadmaps, decide which initiatives should be prioritized, and work with teams across the business to turn plans into measurable results. You will partner with senior leaders, technology vendors, and operational stakeholders to keep digital efforts aligned with broader business priorities, while tracking outcomes and refining the approach when needed.
You will also oversee budgets and delivery timelines, anticipate and manage risks, support adoption of new ways of working, and help build an environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience leading digital transformation initiatives, including the creation and rollout of digital strategies.
- Strong business transformation background with the ability to connect digital programs to company goals and operating models.
- Solid analytical ability to review data, build insights, and inform decisions on complex change programs.
- Program management skills to organize, coordinate, and monitor several digital projects at once while keeping delivery on schedule and within budget.
- Consulting-oriented thinking for stakeholder engagement, issue definition, and solution design.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with partners across technology, operations, marketing, and finance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including the capacity to present and influence both executives and operational teams.
- Proven change management experience, including driving training, engagement, and adoption activities.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar discipline; an MBA or comparable advanced degree is advantageous.
- Experience in retail, quick-service restaurants, or other consumer-focused industries is preferred, especially in omnichannel and customer-first environments.
