Descrizione del lavoro

Role overview

This is a six-month, full-time fixed-term leadership position based in Ireland. You will steer public relations and communications activity across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, helping shape reputation, visibility, and narrative for large-scale initiatives with international reach.

The role combines senior-level strategy with active delivery. You will work across multiple regions and time zones, partner with internal stakeholders and outside agencies, and engage media, influencers, and industry voices to drive coverage and support mission-led campaigns.

Key accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver PR and communications plans for the EMEA region, keeping them aligned with global priorities and campaign goals.
  • Build and nurture relationships with leading journalists across news, entertainment, policy, lifestyle, business, and related outlets.
  • Spot strong story angles and convert them into pitches that raise awareness of the organisation’s impact, campaigns, and executive thought leadership.
  • Lead PR delivery for major campaigns, events, partnerships, and special projects in multiple international markets.
  • Coordinate external PR agencies across regions to maintain message consistency, strong performance, and coordinated outcomes.
  • Work closely with internal partners in marketing, policy, partnerships, and executive leadership to ensure integrated communications.
  • Plan and manage press activities such as media events, briefings, interviews, and other activations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 to 8+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or media, ideally gained in global campaigns, entertainment, politics, or advocacy settings.
  • A well-established network of media contacts across top-tier EMEA outlets.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills, with the ability to turn complex topics into clear and persuasive messages.
  • Proven background in delivering large-scale PR programmes, press events, and media activations in international environments.
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills for managing several workstreams in fast-moving, high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cultures, time zones, and senior stakeholder groups.
  • A balance of strategic thinking, practical execution, and strong attention to detail.

Compensation and benefits

  • Monthly pay of £5,500.
  • Chance to lead high-profile global campaigns with meaningful real-world impact.
  • Exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams operating globally.
  • Opportunity to contribute in a mission-driven environment focused on large-scale social impact.
  • Experience managing international media strategies and major global events.
  • Inclusive and flexible working culture with scope for autonomy and ownership.

Application and hiring process

This role is being handled on behalf of a partner company, which will manage applications and all next steps. A matching process is used to review candidates against the role’s core requirements, and the shortlist is then shared with the hiring employer. Final hiring decisions, including interviews and assessments, are managed internally by the employer.

Data privacy and assessment

By applying, you agree that your personal data may be processed to assess your candidacy and share relevant details with the hiring employer under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection to processing at any time.

AI tools may be used to support parts of the recruitment workflow, such as resume review, response analysis, or identifying inconsistencies in application materials. These tools assist the recruitment team and do not replace human judgment; final decisions are made by people.
