Role overview

This position focuses on keeping dishware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen support areas clean, sanitized, and organized. The role also helps maintain equipment and workspaces so they remain safe, orderly, and sanitary.

Key responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils using the assigned procedures and equipment.
• Polish silverware with the appropriate equipment and methods, including tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.
• Keep the dish area and kitchen space clean, organized, and compliant with safety expectations.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Collect waste, place it in the correct bins, and steam clean or hose out garbage containers when needed.
• Support the movement of supplies, products, and equipment between storage and work areas by loading, unloading, and transferring items.
• Take on additional related duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

Applicants should be comfortable working in a busy, high-pressure environment and able to handle the physical demands of the role. Prior experience in dishwashing is helpful but not mandatory. Experience using industrial dishwashing equipment is also considered an asset.
