Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Draftsman position in Singapore. The role focuses on creating accurate technical and shop drawings for interior fit-out and furniture projects. The successful candidate will translate design intent into production-ready documentation, support coordination across teams, and help ensure drawings align with design requirements, manufacturing needs, and safety expectations.

Key Duties

• Prepare detailed technical and shop drawings for interior fit-out and furniture work.
• Create plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details with precision.
• Use CAD and related drafting software to develop and update drawing sets.
• Review architectural plans and interpret design concepts into workable documentation.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and production personnel throughout the project cycle.
• Revise drawings based on comments and feedback from internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all drawings follow design specifications, safety standards, and manufacturing constraints.
• Organize and maintain project documentation and drawing files in a structured way.
• Support the handover from design to production to help projects move smoothly into fabrication.

Qualifications and Requirements

The role calls for someone with strong drafting capability, practical knowledge of interior construction, and the ability to work accurately under time pressure. You should be comfortable collaborating with multiple teams and managing your work in a fast-moving environment.

• Capability to produce accurate technical drawings and shop drawings, including detailed joinery layouts.
• Working knowledge of CAD tools and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of interior construction techniques, materials, and furniture manufacturing processes, particularly wood and joinery.
• Good spatial understanding and the ability to read architectural and design specifications correctly.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills for working with designers, engineers, and production teams.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain quality consistently in a busy setting.
• A relevant technical diploma or degree in drafting, interior design, architecture, or a related area.
• Prior experience in interior fit-out, furniture manufacturing, or a similar drafting role is preferred.
