Role Overview

The company is hiring an Employee Relations Coordinator for its Human Resources team in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help associates and project teams stay aligned with Holder’s vision and values.
  • Work with leaders, HR, and legal partners to drive fair, compliant, and constructive employee relations outcomes.
  • Support employee relations matters by helping plan internal investigations, conducting interviews, preparing documentation, and summarizing results.
  • Research employment laws and regulatory obligations and apply them to daily work to maintain compliance.
  • Handle sensitive information carefully and follow privacy requirements at all times.
  • Monitor employee relations patterns, identify trends, and prepare reports and insights.
  • Draft and coordinate employee relations and separation-related communications and paperwork.
  • Deliver prompt, professional, and helpful support to employees.
  • Organize, maintain, and store separation records in physical files.
  • Review and respond to unemployment insurance claims.
  • Track mandatory training completions through the Learning Management System.
  • Conduct and complete exit interviews.

Qualifications

Required

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a closely related business discipline.
  • At least 1–3 years of HR experience, ideally in employee relations, HR generalist work, or employment law-related roles.
  • Working knowledge of employee relations investigations and employment law issues.
  • Strong business writing ability, including the skill to create, review, and manage detailed HR reports and documents.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and careful attention to detail.
  • Comfort working independently through complex, unclear, or sensitive situations.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and people skills, along with a high degree of empathy.
  • Professional judgment, integrity, and ethical decision-making.

Preferred

  • Prior experience assisting with or taking part in internal employee relations investigations.
  • Exposure to HR platforms or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience reviewing employee relations data or trends to generate useful insights.
