About the OpportunityAmity University is seeking a fresher for a research-focused engineering role centered on energy science, with a strong emphasis on hydrogen technologies and green hydrogen innovation. This position is part of a long-term Research and Innovation initiative spanning four years, split between India and Finland.Research FocusThe selected candidate will work on advanced topics in hydrogen-related research, contributing to the development of practical and forward-looking solutions for clean energy challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out rigorous research work in hydrogen technologies and connected domains.Create novel and impactful approaches to address challenges in green hydrogen.Work closely with research teams across multiple disciplines in India and Finland.Take part in a four-year Research and Innovation program, with two years in India followed by two years in Finland.Prepare and immobilize photocatalysts for use in solar hydrogen generation.Use analytical instruments and techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR, and UV-Vis for material characterization.Analyze research data using Python-based coding, theoretical models, and simulation tools.Apply Python, AI, and ML methods for data handling, reaction-kinetics modeling, and catalysis-related machine learning work.Keep accurate and complete research logs and documentation.Draft research reports, contribute to publications, support presentations, and assist in proposal writing.Additional InformationThis role includes a job offer as a perk.
