Role overview
Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Flagger II to help keep public areas safe while work is underway at active job sites. This role focuses on traffic control, safe vehicle operation, and support tasks around the work zone.
Key responsibilities
- Direct traffic around more complex work sites using hand signals and traffic paddles.
- Set out and manage flags, cones, signs, and other marking equipment.
- Assist with general construction tasks when directed by the Foreman or Supervisor.
- Help train other flaggers when required.
- Operate company vehicles safely and comply with all safe-driving rules.
- Follow local, state, and federal DOT requirements.
- Keep company vehicles and equipment clean and in good working order.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for this employer.
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
- Valid state driver’s license that is not provisional, with an acceptable driving record.
- At least 1 year of prior flagging experience.
Physical requirements
- Frequent activities include working alone in remote locations, operating vehicles, squeezing, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting 10 to 25 pounds, fine hand movements, and using a keyboard and mouse.
- Occasional activities include working with arms above shoulder level, climbing stairs, and lifting 26 to 55 pounds.
