Role overview
Join Sodexo at Keiser University Flagship Campus in West Palm Beach, Florida, as a General Maintenance Worker. This full-time onsite role is centered on keeping facilities safe, functional, and well maintained. The position calls for someone who can solve problems, support day-to-day operations, and contribute to a safe environment for everyone on site.
Schedule and pay
Shifts can vary across days and hours, and open availability is preferred. Final scheduling details will be shared during the interview process. The pay rate for this role is between $22.00 and $26.00 per hour.
What you will handle
- Carry out maintenance and repair work across several areas such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, and vehicle servicing.
- Complete routine facility tasks including replacing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, replacing door locks, and performing minor decorative upkeep.
- Take on other assignments as needed, which may differ depending on business needs and client expectations.
- Arrive for scheduled shifts on time and maintain dependable attendance.
What the role calls for
Applicants should be team-focused, flexible, dependable, and committed to maintaining a healthy and safe workplace. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates must also hold any license or certification needed for the work being performed in the city and state where the job is located, and a valid driver’s license is required.
