Role overview
CREGG is hiring a highly accountable, execution-focused Global Communications Manager for a permanent full-time role based in Athenry, Galway. The person in this position will make sure regional teams are aligned, prepared, and equipped to deliver communications smoothly and ahead of key business initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver internal communications at a global level, including corporate announcements, leadership messages, and organisation-wide updates.
- Draft and circulate global communications for the CEO to both field teams and internal stakeholders.
- Set clear ownership lines between global and regional communication duties.
- Create and roll out a global communications operating framework.
- Develop templates, playbooks, and practical toolkits that support regional teams.
- Convert global campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives into clear communication packs for local execution.
- Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and message clarity across all channels.
- Oversee recurring communication formats such as weekly updates and newsletters used by regional teams.
- Take ownership of global public relations strategy and agency partnerships.
- Assess, select, and manage PR agencies across global and regional markets, with a focus on delivery and return on investment.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness and ROI of communication programmes at both global and regional levels.
- Coordinate the content calendar and work closely with Marketing Operations on production, guest interactions, and contract management.
- Ensure all communications comply with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Required experience and qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 to 6 years of experience in communications, content, or marketing.
- Hands-on experience managing communications across multiple channels.
- Demonstrated ability to create and oversee global communication frameworks.
- Experience managing PR agencies and influencer programmes with measurable results.
- Exposure to content ecosystems such as email and content hubs.
- Comfort working in a role that combines strategy with day-to-day execution.
