Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Dumfries, Scotland. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and supporting people directly. The hourly pay for this position is £13.71.

What the role involves

As a Home Delivery Driver, you will deliver grocery orders to customers while representing Iceland at the doorstep. The role calls for care, reliability, and a focus on keeping orders in excellent condition from store to delivery.

Key duties

• Load the van safely, including manual handling and heavier items, while following correct procedures.
• Drive responsibly and always follow safe driving practices.
• Carry out routine van checks before and during shifts.
• Make sure groceries reach customers in the best possible condition.
• Provide friendly, high-quality service to customers at every delivery.
• Support store operations when needed.
• Work on your own and manage time effectively.
• Be flexible with shifts, which may run anywhere between 6:00am and 11:00pm.

What you need to apply

You should hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years and must not have more than 6 points on it. The employer is looking for someone who is upbeat, approachable, committed to good customer service, punctual, able to meet deadlines, and highly aware of road safety.
