Main duties

• Load the delivery van safely, including handling heavy items and following manual handling procedures.
• Drive in a careful and compliant manner at all times.
• Carry out checks on the van before use.
• Make sure groceries are delivered to customers in the best possible condition.
• Offer friendly and effective customer service during deliveries.
• Support colleagues in store when needed.
• Work on your own initiative and manage your time well.
• Be prepared to work flexible shifts that may fall anywhere between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate profile

Applicants need a full driving licence that has been held for at least 3 years and must have no more than 6 points.

The ideal person will be positive, approachable, committed to good customer experiences, reliable with timekeeping, able to meet deadlines, and strongly aware of road safety.
