About the Role
LifeSpire of Virginia is seeking a Housekeeper to support a community focused on purposeful living. The organization’s mission centers on empowering people through choice, wellness, faith, and meaningful connection.
The Environmental Services team plays an important role in maintaining clean, welcoming resident and common areas. This position also includes replenishing toiletries and keeping housekeeping equipment organized and stored properly.

Responsibilities
- Monitor the facility regularly for cleanliness issues and take action where needed.
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment stocked, orderly, and easy to access.
- Inspect equipment each day to confirm it is working correctly and report any damage or defects through the proper channel.
- Maintain logs and records accurately and on time.
- Follow infection control procedures, hazardous waste disposal rules, safety standards, and all applicable organizational policies.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Availability to work rotating weekends.
- Comfort with repetitive, routine work and the ability to keep a steady pace.
- A patient, courteous manner when interacting with residents, visitors, and coworkers.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
