About the Organisation
The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority manages and protects one of Australia’s most celebrated coastal regions. Its work covers parks, reserves, marine environments and major visitor locations along the Great Ocean Road. In partnership with Traditional Owners, local communities and other stakeholders, the Authority focuses on safeguarding environmental, cultural and heritage values while supporting sustainable tourism and long-term conservation.
About the Role
The Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park is seeking a dependable and energetic Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe and inviting environment for guests. This is a practical, hands-on position where you will contribute to a memorable visitor experience by looking after cabins, amenities and shared areas. The role is based in a scenic coastal setting and offers varied day-to-day tasks within a supportive team.
Key Duties
- Clean cabins, amenities, kitchens, offices and public spaces across the Lorne site.
- Ensure guest facilities are presented to a consistently high standard.
- Support linen handling, stock movement and general site upkeep.
- Offer courteous and helpful assistance to visitors when required.
- Escalate maintenance concerns and guest feedback in a timely manner.
- Work in line with all workplace health and safety requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior cleaning experience, ideally gained in hospitality, accommodation, healthcare or a similar environment.
- A strong eye for detail and a genuine commitment to quality.
- A positive, hands-on and proactive approach.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as collaboratively.
- Sound organisation and time management skills.
Additional Requirements
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check.
- Valid right to work in Australia.
