Overview
Dublin Post Acute, located in Dublin, Ohio, is hiring a full-time Housekeeper Lead. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, with shifts falling between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. The pay range for this position is $16 to $18 per hour.

The organization is looking for a hands-on and dependable leader to guide housekeeping activities while helping uphold strong cleanliness and infection-prevention standards across the site.
Role Summary
The Housekeeper Lead will oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations while still participating directly in cleaning work. This person will coordinate staff assignments, check quality of work, and help ensure that resident rooms, shared spaces, and other facility areas remain sanitary, safe, and well maintained.
Key Duties
- Provide day-to-day direction and support to the housekeeping team.
- Plan, prioritize, and distribute cleaning assignments so tasks are completed on time.
- Review resident rooms, common areas, offices, and public spaces to confirm cleanliness and policy compliance.
- Coach and train new team members on cleaning methods, safe work practices, and infection-control procedures.
- Oversee the correct use, storage, and handling of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Track supply levels and report when restocking is needed.
- Respond quickly to cleaning-related needs raised by residents, families, or staff.
- Keep the work area orderly, safe, and clean.
- Support deep-cleaning tasks and other special projects as required.
- Work closely with nursing, maintenance, and other departments to support resident satisfaction and care.
- Follow facility rules, OSHA expectations, and infection-control requirements at all times.
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 2 years of housekeeping experience, ideally in healthcare, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care. Previous lead or supervisory experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The ideal candidate will also bring strong knowledge of cleaning methods, infection control, and workplace safety, along with solid leadership, communication, and organization skills. Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with a team are important.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday. The role also involves pushing carts, safely using housekeeping equipment, and working in a fast-moving healthcare setting.
