About the Role
This position supports housekeeping and store operations within a hospitality environment in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role is focused on receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking supplies and merchandise while maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and inventory accuracy. It is a full-time, non-management position based on site.
Key Duties
- Accept incoming merchandise, sort it by department, label it correctly, and move it to the right storage or use area.
- Load received goods onto pallets or carts and route them to the proper department.
- Prepare requisition paperwork for inventory and supply needs.
- Flag low-stock situations to the manager or supervisor without delay.
- Receive deliveries, store perishable items correctly, and rotate stock as needed.
- Check deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and overall quality, including case lots and date/time details.
- Decline items that are damaged, unsuitable, or incorrect.
- Follow food safety and handling standards in all food-related areas.
- Keep refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains clean and sanitized.
- Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place them in the designated storage area.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the supervisor or manager.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
- Work in line with company policies, procedures, confidentiality rules, appearance standards, and asset protection practices.
- Communicate with guests and colleagues in a clear, polite, and professional manner.
- Build positive working relationships and support the team in meeting shared goals.
- Maintain quality expectations and standards in day-to-day work.
- Read and confirm information accurately in different formats, including small print.
- Carry out physical duties such as standing, sitting, or walking for long periods and moving items up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Handle objects of different sizes and weights using fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Work in narrow, confined, elevated, uneven, slippery, or stairway areas when required.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
A high school diploma or GED-equivalent is preferred. No previous related work experience is required, and no supervisory experience or certification is needed.

The role is on-site and full time. It requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict safety, hygiene, and quality procedures. Candidates should be comfortable working in fast-paced hospitality operations and handling stock, storage, and sanitation tasks.
