About the Employer
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas, Texas is a well-known rehabilitation network created through a partnership between Baylor Scott & White Health and Select Medical. The organization employs about 2,800 people and is a major provider of post-acute rehabilitation in North and Central Texas. Its care services support patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and many other serious illnesses and injuries.
The broader operation includes four inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, more than 100 outpatient clinics, a home health arm, and neuro-transitional centers. It also operates acute therapy and inpatient rehabilitation units within Baylor Scott & White Health’s North Texas hospitals.
Role Overview
The Human Resources Assistant supports a broad range of HR functions across the rehabilitation network. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, TX, with Monday through Friday working hours. The pay is hourly, ranging from $18 to $24 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
This role reports to the HR Manager and focuses on administrative and clerical support for the Human Resources team. The position may also assist the CEO and other departments when needed.
- Handle routine administrative work for the HR department, including typing, filing, and maintaining records.
- Use word processing tools effectively and organize tasks so assignments are completed promptly.
- Provide additional support to the CEO and other teams as business needs require.
Qualifications
A high school diploma is required. Candidates should have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and at least one year of experience in the human resources field is preferred. An associate degree is also preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are expected.
