About Peace Through Trade (PTT)
Peace Through Trade is a regulation-first Layer-1 proof-of-work blockchain focused on sustainable infrastructure for real-world commerce. The platform is being developed for use by individuals, governments, and institutions that need secure, transparent, and environmentally conscious digital trade solutions at international scale.
The organization has also been recognized by the United Nations for leadership connected to the Sustainable Development Goals. As the team continues to expand, PTT is seeking a well-organized HR Coordinator with a people-first mindset to support the company’s human resources function.
Your Mission
In this role, you will be the main point of contact for team member experience from the time a person joins the organization. Your work will help attract, onboard, support, and retain the people who keep the project moving forward.
This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys shaping a positive team culture and can handle the operational details that make that culture possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the end-to-end hiring process, including role posting, candidate review, interview coordination, and communication with applicants.
- Oversee onboarding so new hires have a clear, supportive, and welcoming introduction to the company.
- Keep employee files, contracts, and other HR records accurate, organized, and confidential.
- Assist with payroll coordination, timekeeping, and administration of benefits.
- Act as a first contact for employees seeking guidance on policies, procedures, or workplace matters.
- Contribute to the creation and upkeep of HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor key team dates, performance review timelines, and learning or development activities.
- Support employee engagement, culture initiatives, and internal communication efforts.
- Work with teams across departments and time zones to keep information aligned and accessible.
- Address routine people-operations issues early to prevent them from escalating.
What You Bring
- At least 2-4+ years of experience in HR coordination, people operations, or a comparable role.
- Practical knowledge of hiring workflows, onboarding processes, and HR recordkeeping.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills with the ability to manage several deadlines at once.
- Clear written and spoken communication with a polished and approachable style.
- Comfort working with digital tools such as Google Workspace, ClickUp or similar platforms, ATS software, and HRIS systems.
- Working understanding of employment basics, confidentiality expectations, and workplace compliance.
- Ability to operate independently in a remote team spread across multiple time zones.
- A proactive attitude and genuine interest in helping people feel supported and successful.
- Experience in tech, startup, or blockchain environments is considered an advantage.
