Talent and Organizational Development

  • Work alongside recruiters and hiring managers to support staffing plans and recruitment efforts.
  • Organize onboarding and orientation activities to help new joiners settle in smoothly.
  • Assist with learning and development programs, training coordination, and performance management routines.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives aimed at improving retention, productivity, and overall organizational performance.

HR Operations and Employee Lifecycle

  • Handle employee lifecycle activities from onboarding through probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit processing.
  • Draft and manage employment agreements, HR letters, staff records, and related documentation.
  • Keep employee information current and accurate in HR systems and personnel files.
  • Support payroll preparation and work with payroll vendors or internal teams to ensure salary processing is timely and accurate.

Employee Relations and HR Support

  • Act as the primary contact for employee questions related to HR matters.
  • Develop strong working relationships with employees and managers across functions and locations.
  • Help coordinate engagement activities, wellness initiatives, team-building efforts, and company events.
  • Support managers in addressing performance, attendance, disciplinary issues, and workplace concerns.

Compliance and Policy Administration

  • Ensure HR practices align with local labor laws and internal company policies.
  • Assist with work passes, visas, and employment-related documentation where needed.
  • Contribute to the drafting, review, and upkeep of HR policies, employee handbooks, and internal SOPs.
  • Track HR compliance obligations across Singapore, Malaysia, and other operating locations.

HR Projects and Continuous Improvement

  • Take part in HR transformation initiatives and process improvement work.
  • Review HR metrics and share workforce and employee trend insights with management.
  • Identify ways to improve HR processes, the employee journey, and operational efficiency.
  • Support regional HR programs as the organization continues to expand internationally.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Business Partner roles.
  • Working knowledge of Singapore and/or Malaysia employment regulations and HR best practices.
  • Background in payroll support, employee lifecycle administration, and HR operations.
  • Well-developed organizational ability with the capacity to manage several priorities at once.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and functions.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
  • Ability to speak Chinese is an advantage because of frequent interaction with regional stakeholders.
